Hi,
Happy new year to you all.
My Son has switched on his laptop this morning,Toshiba Equium A-100,when the screen is opened and pushed back to an angle of over 120 degrees the screen goes blank but when he closes it to say 110 degrees it comes back on.
Can anyone shed any light as to what the fault can be,
cheers,

looks like the ribbon cable that passes through the hinge from the motherboard to the screen may be damaged, or looseEx forum ambassador
