Can anyone tell me the best home emergency policy to have. I'm with npower for gas and electricity and I'm thinking of having a policy to ensure my boiler etc works OK.

I have a Potterton combination boiler and have cover through them (Heatteam) for £12 a month

However, Powergen are currently offering cover for £15 a month with your first 3 months free. Unlike the Potterton scheme, this covers your whole system, including radiators and valves

I don't think it matters who your fuel supplier is
