Free US Disney Theme Park Entry on your birthday

Options
Hi all,

Have looked back a couple of pages and couldn't see anyone already posting this. My OH received an e-mail from Disney stating that next year you will receive FREE admission to Disneyworld or Disneyland if you go on your birthday.

Even annual passholders can benefit as they will get a present to the value of a pass for already being a passholder.

See here for more info:

Official MoneySavingExpert.com Insert:

From 1 Jan until 31 Dec '09 visit DisneyWorld, Florida, or Disneyland, California, on your birthday and you'll get in free. It usually costs $75 (10 year olds and over) or $63 (3-9 year olds) free (under 3s get in free anyway) so a great saving. If you already have a multi-day ticket you can choose to get a one-day ticket to use any time within 12 months of your birthday.

While you can pick your free ticket up at the gate, there'll be forms to fill in, so register online at Disneybirthdaytreat.com before going, then remember to take your Birthday confirmation and your passport with you and it'll save time at the gate.

Many thanks to MoneySaver vivatifosi who originally mentioned this within another discussion. This post's been copied to start a completely seperate discussion.

  • Fantastic stuff - thanks! it's my girlfriend's birthday whilst we are there next year. I've noticed that if you already have tickets, you can claim fastpasses for the group (the birthday boy/girl +5!!) or a giftcard to spend during the day.

The registration website does say that non-US residents are not duty bound to register, but can claim their gift on production of ID from the 'Will Call' window on the day.
