Interest On The Bank Charges

Hi All,

Earlier this year i went over my overdraft limit by a few quid, my overdraft limit is £200 with Lloyds. At the time i couldnt afford to pay the £200 back and i got a £35 charge for goingover my limit plus the same month i was charged another £70 for two returned direct debits.
I was self employed at the time and had hurt my back so couldnt work, i explained this to lloyds but wouldnt help me by stopping the charges. I already have a claim waiting with the courts for nearly £3000 but because of what has happened earlier this year i have now incurred more charges. I now owe Lloyds over £1300 because they have been charging me charges every month, so basically £1100 in charges as i was only overdrawn £200.

I had a look through my statements and have noticed that i have been getting charged interest on the amount i am now overdrawn, so interest on the bank charges.
My question is this, does anyone know if i can claim back the interest on the bank charges? I dont mind paying the interest on the £200 but not the interest on the rest, hope someone can help as i am going to be sending them a letter asking for claim thats with the courts and for them to write off the recent charges

Thanks

Dave
