Recieved and email from this company and when I checked it online found a few links saying it is a virus , if you get this delete it.
Reads as follows:
Your internet access is going to get suspended
The Internet Service Provider Consorcium was made to protect the rights of software authors, artists.
We conduct regular wiretapping on our networks, to monitor criminal acts.
We are aware of your illegal activities on the internet wich were originating from
You can check the report of your activities in the past 6 month that we have attached. We strongly advise you to stop your activities regarding the illegal downloading of copyrighted material of your internet access will be suspended.

Had same email today, looked up their IP Address, comes up as Comcast Cable Communications, Inc, based in Georgia, USA.
They are an Internet Service Provider, also found an interesting Court Case regarding their missuse of collecting IP data and storage of the URL's (websites) their clients visit, which they link to your IP address and subsequently you.

Not sure how genuine the email is, but have recently downloaded a couple of movies from bittorrents...bit of coinsidence wouldn't you say? Could just be a scare tactic.
Checked the attached file for virus etc, through Norton but came up clean.
Will do some more digging and post any updates. I am with o2 broadband, I wonder if Comcast is their provider.0 -
