What's this about?
We've blagged 15 copies of the book 'What to buy for your baby' for MoneySavers to have a read and see what they think.
The book's about navigating the maze of baby products available and gives a run down of the best buys, tested by the authors.
What to do
If you're interested, just reply to this (click on 'post reply') and say
To do this you need to be registered for the Forum (if you're not when you click reply you'll be taken through the process, it's free of course). Please don't email or PM, you have to reply here to be in with a chance.
How will the 15 people be chosen?
The 15 people who get the book will be picked at random (we've a special little computer programme to do it) and announced in next weeks email (if you don't get the email go to www.moneysavingexpert.com/tips)
The one thing we ask if you get a book
Please come back to the Forum and write your review of it so others can see if its worth shelling out for it.
The Book's Blurb:
"You’re itching to start buying things for the new baby. It’s so exciting, after all, and you want to be ready when the baby arrives. But it’s an expensive business and you can’t afford to waste your money."
Your friends are full of advice, of course, and lots of it helpful. But you’re different people with different lives, and you can’t be sure that what works for them will work for you."
"So how on earth are you supposed to know what you need and what you don’t? And if you do need something, how you do you choose which one to buy, when there are so many different types and brands on offer? Buggies, car seats, nappies, clothes, bedding… where do you start?"
That’s where Caroline Cosgrove – a professional personal shopper for baby equipment – and parenting journalist Liat Hughes Joshi step in. Between them, they have tested and tried hundreds of products, and are here to guide you through them all. They have no vested interest, and pass on impartial advice about:
·What products are available
·The pros and cons of each
·Which will suit you personally
·Which represent good value for money
·What not to waste your money on
What to Buy for Your Baby will help you pick your way through the jungle of information out there, and come away with just the equipment you want without spending more than you need.
If you're not one of the randomly chosen ones and you really want it, then the route is to simply buy a copy (this link takes you to the publisher site which currently seems cheapest, do compare prices though)
