A prog with Martin and Alvin teaming up sounds like a fantastic idea, as they both cover different areas. Alvin certainly does seem like an interesting guy, I think the reason I like him is that he's been there himself so knows how it feels to have nothing.0

Alvin doing pain-full about managing your relationships and your personal impulses
If Alvin can curb me of my personal impulses, i will eat my hat!!!:rolleyes:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Brilliant - this would be the PERFECT combo I reckon :T
In another thread, a while back, discussing Alvin Hall, I said I thought that both he, and Martin compliment each other perfectly, and I for one use both their approaches.
Plus I think they both have superb presentation styles - maybe a 1 hour show, in segments for each of them would work fantastically - I'm all for it!

They could have the first half hour with Alvin learning how to manage their spending and money, then finesse with Martin on how to save on their utilities etc etc.
Sounds good to me!0 -
Wow that sounds like a fab idea for a programme....I would definitely tune in to that one.
Hope the chat goes well...

Sounds like a great program.. especially if it was to air in the evening..
Actually just reading MSE whilst listening to Alvin on Radio 2 - ( feeling a bit guilty).HLK

I definitely watch a programme with Martin and Alvin Hall in it. I have books by both and I'd certainly watch. Half an hour each like Bridie mentioned above would be great. Alvin Hall is pretty good, and Martin too so the two together... would be brilliant. Who do we have to write to Martin?
If BBC1 was to run it say 7pm - 8pm, that would be good for me.

This would be a great show! As long as it was shown in the evening though, as so many of us had to miss MMR.0

Different opinions here then on who is best here then - Alvin or Martin.
So as Harry Hill would say, there's only one way to sort it out - FIIIGGGHHTTTTT!!!!!!!0
