Lloyds TSB - low transfer limits

If you have a small business and bank online with Lloyds TSB, you might not know that the bank imposed some temporary low limits on internet payments and transfers last Thursday.

The standard limits are currently £2500 for one online payment and £5000 for all online payments per day.
This is a temporary measure due to a security issue, but Lloyds cannot tell anyone when the restriction will be lifted.
This could affect salary or supplier payments - not to mention tax due to HMRC. The phone bank lines are busy with customer calls about this but have no control over when the limits will be changed.

If it helps anyone at all, I've been doing transfers via Lloydslink and I've had no problems with transferring any amounts.
