  • Was looking at the tourist websites for some inspiration for a weekend away & by mistake clicked on the international version. It was more or less the same BUT had a link (bottom left) to a discount pass that wasn't on the local site.
Anyway I haven't tried it out yet but you print out a pass & write your name in the space at the top and show the pass at the venue. It's not very user friendly as it's 5 pages long (lists all the attractions & discounts) but worth a try. I'll list the venues - they're mostly 2 for 1 entry - max of 2 people per party.

    Armagh Planetarium
    Belleek Pottery Visitor Centre
    Castle Coole
    Castle Ward
    Down County Museum
    Downpatrick and Couinty Down Railway
    Enniskillen Castle & Museums
    Exploris Aquarium & Seal Sanctuary
Marble Arch Caves & Cuilcagh Mountain Park
    Mount Stewart House & Gardens
    The Navan Centre & Fort
    Palace Stables Heritage Centre
    Queen's University Belfast
    Saint Patrick's Trian Visitor Complex
    The Somme Heritage Centre
    Tower Museum
    Ulster American Folk Park
    Ulster Folk and Transport Museum
    Belfast Festival at Queens
    Bluegrass Festival

Like I said, I haven't tried it but it seems legitimate. Would love to know if it works as it seems to be a good deal.

Had good day out today at Ark farm. £15 for family of four but they take Tesco Clubcard Deal vouchers so this only works out at £3.75 worth of Tesco vouchers. They have loads of animals to pet and feed and a great outdoor and indoor play area. Also do horse and pony rides for £1 each as well as pedal go karts for same price. They have a good picnic area or if you want something more substantial meals are around £5 mark with kids meals for £3.

I printed this out, it looked so dodgy just arriving at the aquarium with a sheet of paper but they must have seen them before as we got the 2 for 1 and saved ourselves £7!
    So thanks for this find!
We'll be using it for w5 too :)

Thanks for posting. Great to know it works. I'd be careful with the W5 one though as although it's listed, the discount says 'none'.
  • The discount now is listed as 2 for 1 for W5 and we used it yesterday! Again they seemed to recognise the print out, so there was no problem.
    Terrific!

I'd recommend w5 at the moment too, as up 'til the 31st oct they have the Dino Jaws exhibition which is fantastic! Giant moving dinosaurs, very Jurassic Park.
