    This airport is served by a range of frequent buses. So why does anyone need to drive there? And there are good security reasons for not allowing cars to wander up to the main entrance.

    You serious ???

    Perhaps you can tell me what buses (or Trains :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ) I would need to book to get myself, wife & 4 year old daughter from Bangor to Aldergrove for 6am ... I'll give you a headstart ... I need a flexibus from Bangor west to Bangor main bus station ... I'll leave the rest up to you

    My car whilst a little thirsty :rolleyes2 generally costs me around £50 all in (petrol & parking) for my usual 2 week summer holiday.

    You could get taxi into Bangor, then get the bus into Europa and go from there. I don't know what the costs would be, I presume in the end they'd be similar. Also the convenience of being able to drive home upon return would be lost.

    I'd rather pay a pound for someone to pick me up than a fortune to park/get a bus/taxi.....

    Does anyone know of the best place to park for a weekend in Aldergrove ?
    There seems to be a lot of alternatives out there

    Red Cent ... have only good things to say about them & at £3 a day iirc you can't be bad to that

    £19.57 for 27 hrs at the City Airport! !!!!!! Turpin clearly runs that place. Now the main surcharges for debit cards too.

    Did a price comparison via www.simplyparking.co.uk. APH offered £30 at Redcent, we nabbed it there and then. :money:

    Perhaps they allocate so many spaces per price. 1 @ £30 , 2 @ £35 etc;
