Denise you have plenty of time to find a routine, find your feet with the new job first, the housework will still be there once you get a routine set, don't be so hard on yourself you are not superwoman and not expected to be ((big hugs))
Tia best of luck with the interviewwill be thinking of you. Have you done tht budget yet?
soappie, we have many doors, 3 back (2 doubles 1 single) then of course the front door here including french ones opening from the dining room, I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy wiping dog snot off them :rotfl: it's all I do I think
Sharon, pleased to hear things are in motion for the complaint, how is your little girl this evening? I can imagine it's shook her up a bit. As for schools, to be honest I think they've all got issues now, my friend teaches in a private school and they have issues with drugs, violence, even firearms last year. Better safe than sorry with the cards!
Mudbath, I went for the charity shop option (hence why I have not a lot left to ebay) I figured I just wanted rid of it all. Was a release just getting the clutter out, reclaiming taken up space etc.
chunky, sounds like a right situation for your brother, I do have a personal hate for those who lie about expecting to try to get back at/get back with someone, if it's true and he is going to be a Dad then fingers crossed they'll manage to sort something out.
ashbart there was supposed to be a heatwave last weekend aswell, believe it when we see it is my thinking now! Long hot summer was another forecast, not something I have much faith in.
Pigpen, they've started those F&V deliveries up here too, there is examples of previous weeks boxes on their website, been trying to work out if it was worthwhile for us.
((big hugs)) for everyone
Right, well back from swimming been back a good hour but the boys have been playing up something rotten since we got in, up and down like yoyos! I did some of the kitchen before we went out but will openly admit I spent an hour this afternoon sleeping then another hour showering, pampering myself etc basically me time as I was feeling so exhausted and run down. I feel much better for it (ok still tired, early night me thinks) but hence I managed to do the kitchen as I felt better in myself.
Spent a good hour at the park with DS after school chatting to other Mam's aswell which was nice as I have barely spoken to anyone since we moved here until the last week or so, we did discuss how no kids here seem to play with each other after school, some of the parents seem to just lock them in the house after school. I thought it was because of the current weather but from what they were saying it's the same all the time, their children will call to ask others to come out and play and they'll have their parents on the phone/go round to them complaining that their children have been to their house asking their children to play out, comments like do you know your child is out etc I find that a little weird. I take DS to the park every night after school and they're starting to go now aswell which is good, might arrange for them to come over to play once I get pulled round a bit. Unfortunately these little ones live the other side of the village to us so it'll take a bit of sorting out.
Did some work on the budget, got a little annoyed with myself that I forgot about cheques I had written (evil things they are!!!) anyway I'd promised DS1 I'd get him a 'no plainer towel' for swimming as the other children have patterned towels but then thinking oh poop I am skint, I spent money on my CC last night getting his clothes etc, anyway someone must have heard my prayer, I had £3 in my paypal account, but they were nearly £8 for the towels he liked inc delivery....then ping, an email from Ebay saying basically I didn't earn enough for the 'extra' thing they did but they sent me a £5 no minimum spend voucher instead woooohoooooo so I managed to get it with a squidge of change...:DOne day I might be more organised...........

Is he expecting you to do his e**m paper as well???
He's still sticking to that he doesn't want to do it, there are exams for both of these which I think is where the problem lies, he goes to pieces with exams. He managed his HNC and ONC with my foot up his backside but with very little exams wise as as soon as the words mentioned he goes to pieces. When he went to do a degree at the uni (engineering) he went to pot when exam time came up but I think that's because they had so many problems, the lecturer didn't teach them what was in the exam, then gave them a handout before they went. Over 60 walked out of the exam before he left that day because noone knew how to answer the questions, which of course hasn't made things any better. I'm going to discuss it with him next week when he's off work as speaking to him in between shifts is pointless.
Tia!!! I'll do mine if you do yours :rotfl: I did mine but it needs redoing because it's about as balanced as me :rotfl: not very.
I've just been reading about everyones gas/elec bills, mine hasn't arrived yet, I checked online and nothing on there either, I'm dreading ours coming in. I have looked for the meter readings from when we switched which I think was in January but can't find them anywhere. One day I might be more organised...........
