    Our boys love Minehead ! have been twice before

    and going again May & Oct half terms this yr ! and now another 3 night break in Aug !

    not been to skegness,but we prefer M.head to Bognor :)

    oh dear, im now slightly concerned about pontins brean sands - anyone got anything nice to say about the place? we are going with a 3 and a 4 yr old, is it suitable for their age group?also ive seen people mentioning centre parcs - was this included in the sun offer too?

    I suggest you read the comments from the link I posted and make your own mind up.
    One persons idea of hell on Earth seems to be acceptable to others.
    If you like sitting in the bar all day whilst your children run around unsupervised in the games room, before staggering back to your chalet at 12pm making as much noise as possible - you'll love it.

    Put it this way - you could convert the place into an open prison without making any changes at all. Any holiday park which needs heavy security on the gate is not a place you really want to be taking your family!

    Centre Parcs still has the Chav culture, but you end up spending a fortune on the activities as well. Best avoided as well IMO. Stick to the smaller independent parks if possible.

    have a look on www.tripadvisor.com or holiday watchdog for reviews of Brean

    hi, me again! does anyone know why trelawne manor in cornwall is no longer in the deals? i used to work there and we had loads of people come on the sun hols but now cant see it on the list - any ideas?
  • i also got 29th august at minehead, i wanted the 4 night break but it was unavailable

    We had a great time here, barney the dinasaur was there and the beach was great. We did not do any of the other site entertainment, we lived on the beach, but the pool was great and there was soft play. Accomadation was bascic, but what we expected. Have a great time.

    It was amongst the £9.50 holidays in the spring so I expect it is full for the season
