Nice touch - first time I've seen anyone make something of St George's Day! I've discovered that sleeping is cheap, if not almost free, so I'm hoping to go to bed early again tonight and spend nothing!

Well...i'm going out to dinner tonight with some friends so it'll be a spend day. However, I told all my friends that i'm skint and can we please go somewhere cheapish, it usually costs £20 a meal the place we go to. Well not tonight, tonight we are going to a really nice chinese where I plan to drink water and eat a meal for about £7! I'm taking £11 out with me as that's what i've got in my wallet.

£1.10 on the bus into work and £1.40 in the canteen (which is subsidised) for a baked tattie with hot filling, diet coke and an orange.

    Cheap day for me.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
