Everyone's favourite company that makes Mars bars, Mars, is giving away 10,000 branded footballs. What makes the offer special though is that it's doing so on an instant-win basis, and you don't need to buy anything to have a go.

All you have to do for a chance of getting one is enter your details into its site (link below), click submit (preferably with fingers firmly crossed), and hope for a bit of luck; apparently, upon entry 'a promotional pack will be checked on your behalf and if you are a winner you will receive a ball in the post'. If you don't win, you won't hear anything...

Yet even if you miss out, you can have another go per day until the balls run out, or the promotion officially ends on 31 Jan '09.

Just one thing to be careful of:

Companies often run these promotions to build a big database they can send promotional emails to. If you're worried about getting these 'spam' emails, get a free email account from Yahoo, Google or Hotmail (or similar), and use that to sign up to these sorts of offers.

If we all enter every day I reckon that's over 300 Mars bars a day they'll have with no wrappers, couldn't they just send us them!:D
