Has anyone tried ZOPA?

I've just followed a link from Yahoo about ZOPA, the worlds first money exchange https://www.zopa.com. They have been running since March and I was wandering if anyone had loaned or borrowed money through them. The idea of lending money to other people at a rate lower than most banks lending rates and them paying you back at a higher rate of interest than you can get in most savings accounts seems like a great idea. Both sides seem to win and only the banks loose. If their claim, that no one has failed to make a repayment yet, and they spread the risk across lots of lenders is this the future of finance or am I missing something?
Thanks, clanmcneil

I'm a member but Ive not lent anything yet.
Since there are better investments for the risk !
I.e. investment trusts, and even gilt edged bonds.
Why take a risk for 6% when I can get better risk for 10%+ !
Okay not logged in for a while so I thought I would revisit it today.

LOL...
Okay for Market A ranges from about 4.7% to about 5.1%...
Market B ranges from about 5.5% to 8.5%
Investment trust ? 35% - (average).
I mean if you want zero risk - bung it in a monthly saver ! You'l get 6% to 8% depending on which one you go with !0
