CSI competition terms & conditions

1. The CSI ("Competition") is open from 15 November 2007 until midnight on 31 January 2008 ("Competition Period") and operated by Virgin media Television Limited, 160 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5QA ("VMTV") found at URL https://www.livingtv.co.uk/csi and http://www.virginmedia.com/playbetwin/competitions/csi-competition.php
2. The Competition is open to all UK and Eire residents aged 18 years and over, excluding employees, agents (or families of such employees or agents) of VMTV or anyone else connected with the administration of the Competition ("Players").
3. By entering the Competition, all Players agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any Player who fails to abide by any of these Terms and Conditions, or fails to meet the entry criteria set out in paragraph 2 above, may be disqualified at the sole discretion of VMTV.
4. You may enter the Competition by registering your personal details (i.e. name, address, date of birth, telephone number and email address) and sending your entry via the website http://www.virginmedia.com/playbetwin/competitions/csi-competition.php.
5. Players must correctly answer the following question:
   Which city does have a CSI series?
   A) Las Vegas
   Los Angeles
   C) London
6. Correct entries will go forward to a draw. There will be 1 (one) winning entry, which will be the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries validly submitted ("Winner") and 10 (ten) runners-up which will be the next 10 (ten) entries drawn at random from all eligible entries validly submitted ("Runners-Up"). The decision by VMTV as to the determination of the Winners and Runners-up shall be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. VMTV accepts no responsibility for incomplete, lost, damaged, incomprehensible or indecipherable entries and all such entries shall be disqualified. Confirmation of sending an entry via phone or ETV is not proof of entry, nor does it constitute receipt. All entries must be received by VMTV by midnight on 31 January 2008 ("Closing Date"). No entries will be accepted after the Closing Date.
8. The Prize: The Winner will receive:
   - 2 (two) return economy class flights to Los Angeles from any UK airport.
   - Hotel accommodation in Los Angeles for 2 (two) nights based on 2 (two) people sharing.
   - Return transfers from the Winner's hotel to the Universal Studio in Los Angeles. The trip to the Universal Studio is subject to the production schedule. A set visit includes a tour of CSI: Miami regular sets and shooting stages. Neither CBS, nor the producers of the series can guarantee meeting any of the cast.
   - 12 (twelve) months subscription to CSI magazine starting on the next distribution date following the Winner's notification.
9. The Runners-Up will each receive 1 (one) CSI Miami DVD boxset.
10. Proof of age (passport of other valid picture ID) will be required before the Prize can be given.
11. The Winner must hold a valid passport suitable for travel in the specified time.
12. The Winner is responsible for all travel insurance.
13. The Winner will not be reimbursed for hotel arrangements made outside of the available hotel accommodation.
14. The Prize includes nothing other than that expressly stated to be included as part of the Prize. Players should be aware that the Prize may be subject to terms and conditions of third parties for which VMTV is not responsible or liable and by entering the Competition all Players are therefore deemed to have accepted and be bound by those terms and conditions.
15. The Winner and Runners-Up may be announced on the URL https://www.livingtv.co.uk. The Winner and Runners-Up will then be contacted by telephone within 7 (seven) days of the end of the Competition Period. In the event that a Winner or Runner-Up fails to confirm acceptance of the Prize within 3 (three) days of receiving notification, then VMTV reserves the right to substitute them with another Player of its choice.
16. The Prize is non-transferable, subject to availability and there is no cash alternative. VMTV may substitute an alternative of the same or comparable value if it, in its sole discretion, deems necessary.
17. The name and county of the Winner and Runners-Up can be obtained by writing to VMTV at the address set out in paragraph 1 (above), enclosing a stamped addressed envelope, or by visiting the website https://www.livingtv.co.uk.
18. The Winner and Runners-Up agree to participate in such reasonable publicity as may be requested by VMTV. The Winner and Runners-Up agree to the publication of their respective name and county as referred to in paragraph 11 above.
19. The details that you provide in connection with the Competition will be held by VMTV. Your name, address, location, email address and other relevant information you provide will only be used by VMTV for the purposes of administering and fulfilling the Competition and Prize draw and to arrange the Prize unless you consent otherwise. Other information provided will be aggregated in the form of statistics to identify trends and your name will remain anonymous.
20. As far as permitted by law (but not including liability personal injury or death arising from its negligence) VMTV excludes all liability in connection with the Competition or the Prize awarded or not awarded in connection with the Competition.
21. VMTV reserves the right to modify or vary the Competition and/or these Terms and Conditions at any time.
22. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with laws of England and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising.
