anyone know of any cheap ways to get to woodbury comon in new york (this place http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp?id=7)
my firend went last year and sad the official bus was 40 dollars per person!
while he said its expensive, if you spend alot you get it back.
still - surely someone knows a cheaper way.
hiring a car is a non - dstarter (where do you park in the middle of new york!)
any ideas?

There were two companies operating a service when I was out there a few months ago. An official one (Grey Line?) and another (which I used) which cost $25 return. I found out about it at the offical NY Tourist Agency near Times Square, the bus operated from Penn Station (next to Madison Sq Garden). You can probably call the Tourist Agency from here to find out further details.

Nice one, this is the company I used! You can also get a book of vouchers giving further discounts when you arrive at the outlets.

A bit off topic - but just wanted to add that it is well worth a trip here. I bought so much stuff and ebayed some of it when I got home that it practically paid for the whole holiday to New York!!! ;D
Was told that it gets quite busy here but I went at this time of year and it was snowing in New Jersey, at the outlets it was up to my knees, I was practically the only customer there but the shops were still open - great!0
