Sony Vaio won't connect

Options
I have a beautiful new Sony Vaio laptop...it is a thing of beauty BUT:
It was connecting wirelessly absolutely fine until today. The wireless lan switch is at off and is impossible to slide over as it says. Don't know why this has suddenly gone wrong and it is a bit upsetting as the laptop is only 5 days old. any suggestions?

    HI,
What is the make and model? Is it a physical switch you have to move to turn on wireless?

Perhaps you could take it back to the retailer for a replacement?

nads you are so right......spent a rather fraught half hour with Sony help. The young lady seemed to know only marginally more than me! However I did establish from her that it was a physical rather than a virtual switch...I found it and hey presto all is well.

little switch on front right hand side I guess it would be - easy to catch when putting back into bag - also if a crumb gets in there when its switched to off ...
