Dishwashers that fit IN the unit...

Options
Hi All!

Silly post of the day, this one, but....

As I've always been the dishwasher in the past, we'll be getting one of those ones that work by electricity, now!!

Apart from your recommended models, we want fully integrated, so the control panel doesn't even show & do any fit INSIDE the 600 base unit, WITHOUT any underhang?

We want to have the units on legs, rather than plinth, even though there will be a plinth set under, but further back, to hide pipe runs.

See, said it was silly Q!!

Thanks in advance!

VB

  • What exactly is your question?

If your looking a recomendation I would say look at a mid range fully intergrated Bosch.

    Hi,

A fully integrated dishwasher does not fit into any unit, they're just a normal dishwasher that you screw your choice of door to. We've bought an Ikea kitchen and integrated appliances from Boots. The hotpoint dishwasher we bought isn't tall enough to match the Ikea units so we have just stood it on blocks of wood as doesn't move around and the plinth fits infront. this gives us room for pipes under the dishwasher aswell but this will depend on the height of your units and dishwasher.

My friend has one....i will ask her where from and what it is.
It took me ages to find the buttons!!! they are on the top of the door on he inside. Her kitchen was custom made to her designs and if i remeber rightly the appliances cost a bomb so that they were exact.

Vansboy is in effect after a dishwasher that sits on legs IIAC, as I assume his units are on legs rather than have a plinth in front. There are plenty of normal ones on the market that hide the control panel behind the fascia.

I have seen units on Legs in B and Q. Thinking laterally, B and Q may be a good place to ask this question.

I don't think that it will be cheap though.

    Yes, Hugo has it right!

We want to have the units (Ikea) on legs, if we can, so the machine doesn't show it's casing/components on the floor.

Didn't realise you only bought the door cover, I assumed it was a special 600 unit, to accomodate it!

    Thanks!
