Travel Repulic advice required

Hi, I'm thinking of booking a Hotel only through travel republic for July 2009
have never used these before, always booked direct with hotel
this was supposed to be the cheapest option

any how travel republic are way cheaper (hotel is in Majorca by the way)

has any one had any dealings with Travel Republic

any advice/tips gratefully appreciated

I used them last year (had to cancel due to personal accident)

I have booked again this year and they are so far good with what i have had to use them for

Hi,

I have used Travel Republic.

I have booked a holiday with them before - hotel only - no problems at all.

My sister has also booked with them with no problems.

We used them for a holiday to Egypt last year, definately value for money.

Just booked with them for a week at Forte Do Vale apartments in Albufeira during April half term.

Email confirmation arrived whilst I was on the phone to them, so hopefully it'll be OK.

The price I paid was £508 inc. transfers, compared to the next best which was £640. Great saving, was also able to put special requests forward for the accomodation. Away from road, overlooking pool etc. The experience is positive so far, but the price seems too good to be true!

Make sure you take your printed out vouchers with you from your email confirmation.

I have used on various occaisions with no problems except once the hotel had different details regarding room types. It all got sorted in the end - just make sure you take your reservation voucher.

I booked for Barcelona with them in July, really good, except transfers were a bit pricey, but overall very good.

Booked with them yesterday and have been with them before plus the family has aswell. No probs, make sure you print and take the vouchers as mentioned by lily the pink.

Cheapest i find when compared to all others but beware of the card charges they add to the booking when completing payment as it can add up - quick note, my mother actually payed by cheque when they last went thus avoiding these charges, not sure if they still allow this but worth a try!

Hi

I used them a couple of years ago when I got married and the availability through the operator that we used became full before all our guests had booked. Absolutely NO PROBLEMS whatsoever and subsequently I have used them a number of times since!!

Hi,

I used them to book a hotel in Spain in Jan 09. No problems at all, everything was as booked.

Also booked through them again for a hotel in March 09 but had to cancel (nothing to do with them) and they refunded my c/card within a few days without any hassle.

Would recommend.
