Tomatoes in grow bags
I'm about to put my tomatoes outside in growbags.
I was wondering if anyone knows how many tomato plants you can fit into one 30L grow bag?

Two
Three is too many, they will fight for water, root space and food, air will not be able to circulate as easily and they will be more prone to disease.
After planting remember to remove the bottom three leaves, this promotes sturdier upward growth.
Cut a hole in the middle of the bag between the plants and push a small pot in, you can then water into the pot rather than risk washing peat out of the bag by watering at the base of the plant.
Finally, rather than take the plants out of their pots to put in the bags get some sharp scissors and cut the bottoms out of the pots, then just push the pot through a hole in the growbag. Prevents disturbance and gives them a little exta compost.0 -

oooops. Too late. They are already out >.<
I am in the South, they are up against a wall and it has been unseasonally warm so hopefully they will be ok. I'm keeping my fingers crossed now that we don't have a cold spell.**********************************************************************
