  Since they've asked us to re-register I have been unable to do so as the confirmation email link to activate my account never works.
  Has anyone else had this problem please?

  Yup I have this problem too, have tried numerous times and always get an error. I've emailed them for help too and not received a reply yet - this was about 4 days ago now.
