I can't see any connection on the site that they are a partner of Tesco supermarket.
I think someone has just used the Tesco name.
I wouldn't trust it.
EDIT : Only has 13 results for "tescobox" on google and no alexa ranking so it's either brand new or not very popular.

i just found tescobox too... and the mobile phone id like to buy (samsung z540) was on there for such a cheap price that i thought it must be too good to be true!

I think that something isn't right either. The domain was only registered on the 21st Sept this year to somebody in the USA, there isn't any UK company number or VAT details on the website, and it appears that you have to phone up or send them a cheque to pay for goods.0

I found it via froogle.co.uk when looking for an mp3 player.
Anyway, I have ordered enough to make it over €500 and it was €15 delivery, but it says they will call you.
I am not holding my breath, but the site didn't ask for any payment details so I thought lets try it.
They won't phone...

Looks like a US site - would things come in workable UK formats? Electricity as well as broadcasting formats are different here and the buyer would be liable for duty & VAT if sent from the USA!0

My dad pointed me at Tescobox.com after finding the site through Froogle. We've been shopping around for a digital SLR camera and guess what, Tescobox seems to have them all for around half price; and HD camcorders for about a third of their normal retail price...
Very strange... It'll be interesting to hear if they actually contact anyone. How would the consumer credit T&Cs cover a purchase from them made with a Visa/Mastercard?
Also, worth noting the telephone number... If you look up 07031 8 on THIS PAGE; it shows that range is owned by Magrathea Telecommunications; which when you look at their (basic) site; is most likely a VOIP number...

I contacted them using the form on their web site on Thursday with a stock enquiry and did actually get an email back from them yesterday.
They are obviously out there somewhere, but would be interested to hear if anyone manages to place an order and actually receives it.:cool:0
