My Switzerland might be a good start. You should find links there to the rail web site too if not then try here, unless one of the specific swiss travel system tickets is what your looking for check out the click and rail fares; they only apply to specific trains and can only be booked about 3 days before travel, but the discount is good.
Which parts are you looking to visit?0 -
Hi - Thanks you. I am not sure - think i want to land in geneva and then probably spend a day there and then visit interlaken and also see mt titlis if i can make it.
would you think the time i have will be enough. also which hotels are good in these places? my budget for the flight and hotels together would be £500 -£6000 -
Are you using the trains or will you have a car?
Easyjet fly year round to Geneva from a few airports in the UK, so you should be able to pick up a reasonably cheap fare.
This web site and also this one might be useful for you for Mt Titlis. although for that area maybe flights to Zurich or Basel would be more convenient.0 -
I would reccomend travelling by rail using a Swiss Pass with two people travelling together you get a discount check out the my switzerland site as previosly mentioned.
For accomadation try https://www.hrs.de a German based interactive website, in English, which is able to book Hotels throughout europe.
Alternatively look at the Interlaken tourist office site which also has a Hotel booking service.
Mount Titlis can be reached easily from Interlaken and its possible to do a round trip using Boat Train Cable Car Bus and a little mountain walking.
Send message if you want more help.Waddle you do eh?0 -
If you don't have a specific date that you want to go yet, I would thoroughly recommend going August 1st, Swiss National Day. Lots of parties and fireworks, great fun!
Interlaken is wonderful...0 -
