Swiftcover Car Insurance

Just had a really cheap quote from Swiftcover - the one with the unusual gentleman on the TV ad. Has anyone had dealings with them? How efficient are they when you have an accident? Thanks for any advice!

I am currently in dispute with Swift (see earlier thread - 'advice please'. That aside their customer service is absolutely terrible. They do not keep you informed, do not get back to you when they say they will, continually remind you of any ommision on your behalf (and trust me I was kicking myself enough without their constant reminders), gave me wrong information (they told me I could drive a friends car on my insurance while my file was 'on hold'). I will NEVER go with them againOwe Mum for house deposit: 01/04/2011 £4700

Had the opposite experience. Found them to be very good and efficient so far and am just coming to my renewal date for which they are the cheapest. Then again i have not had any problems which is often when the hassles start - but so far so good

Hope the cheap quote was not online..... Probably find your not covered for much as they put the basic package online and then you have to add things on which usually takes it over other prices you have had. Check docs when they come carefully and take advantage of cooling of period to cancel if your not happy with what you got.0
