your best bet is with pink elephant parking, which is the long stay car park off airport, however its only a 5 min free bus ride to the terminal. This will be you're cheapest option, as far as booking multiple cars I should imagine you would need to individually book each car in, as they use a system like anpr, which will read individual number plates to allow you to access the car park, if you have pre-booked.

I would go with pink elephant to, but it is more like 15 minutes away and as you may have to wait for a bus, I would leave about half an hour from parking to getting to the terminal. You dont want to miss your flight

You might find it cheeper to book a local taxi firm who has a mini bus and a van for the cases!!!

Couldnt everyone meet at your house or a central location and go from there via coach?

Pink Elephant is not necessarily cheaper. We parked at Stansted last year for two weeks and it was actually cheaper in the mid-stay car park. We booked through http://www.holidayextras.co.uk/airport-parking.html It will show all the options for Stansted.

It will ask you to provide the reg numbers of the cars that you will be taking. Make sure you take the correct ones (and you use the appropriate payment card to let you into the car park) as they operate a registration number recognisation thing. If your reg isn't down, then you pay again........

Yup im back pup, I eat for england, walked for essex and spent for the EU, and i kinda miss the place already, sad is'nt it.

Anyway popped into town today and it just highlights how much we are ripped off in this country, there was a big report on one of the US news channels about how upset the american were about paying $4 for a gallon of fuel, as opposed to our more than £5, gota larf, still im sure none of my colleagues noticed me struggling through the channels with 7 bags full of diesel.
