    Now we will have to ask more detailed questions to flush out such issues.

    Also, it is always worthwhile talking to the neighbours on both sides and maybe the ones next door to them. In cases like mentioned had other neighbours been spoken to, the info about the person who was the subject of the later complaints would have come out, or possibly there would have been a suitably adverse and noisy reaction when his door was knocked!

    Sounds like the judge making it up as he goes along. The form made no mention of "ongoing" disputes.
