1. Open to residents of the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland only, aged 18 years+, excluding employees and their immediate families of Walkers Snacks Limited (the “Promoter”), its affiliated companies, The Walt Disney Company Limited, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands: The cash prizes will be awarded in the form of a personalised Maestro prepaid card in the winner’s name only, which will be sent to winners by post in accordance with paragraph 9 below. This Maestro prepaid card can be used for payment of purchases in any retailer/on-line store displaying the Maestro sign. All Snack A Jacks Maestro prepaid cards must be used within 12 months of the expiry date on the card and use is subject to compliance with the Maestro prepaid card cardholder agreement (see link in paragraph 2 above). The Promoter is not responsible or liable for the administration of the Maestro prepaid cards and winners are referred to Maestro terms and conditions accordingly. NB: Maestro prepaid cards will be de-activated and any balance lost after the expiry date on the card.    6. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to award cash prizes in a different format – e.g. by cheque made out in the winner’s name.
8. Valid entries received during a particular Judging Period will be judged by an independent judging panel for that particular Judging Period only and against other valid entries received for the same Cash Prize Bracket in that Judging Period only and in accordance with the Judging Criteria specified in paragraph 6 above. The judging panel will use such Judging Criteria to determine whether or not to award a valid entry received during a particular Judging Period a cash prize in the amount of the Cash Prize Bracket selected in the Confession. Judges’ decision is final. In order to try to ensure that the total £100,000 cash prize fund is awarded, in the event that a particular Cash Prize Bracket for a particular Judging Period is undersubscribed (i.e. if less entries for a Cash Prize Bracket are received in a Judging Period than the number of cash prizes allocated to that particular Cash Prize Bracket and Judging Period), the Promoter reserves the right to roll any unawarded cash prizes over into the same Cash Prize Bracket for the subsequent Judging Period(s). However, it is acknowledged that not all of the total £100,000 cash prize fund may be awarded if, after such rolling over, there remain unawarded cash prizes at the end of the Promotional Period due to insufficient entries being received for the relevant Cash Prize Bracket(s).
   The panel of independent judges will make their decision for each Judging Period as to which valid entries received in that Judging Period are to be awarded a cash prize equal to the Cash Prize Bracket selected in their Confession within 4 days of the end of the relevant Judging Period. Cash prize winners only will be informed by telephone and in writing by email only within 1 day of the judging panel’s decision. Cash prizes must be claimed by 27th April 2009. All reasonable effort will be made to contact the cash prize winners, however if any cash prize is not claimed by a cash prize winner by 27th April 2009 the cash prize will be forfeited.
9. The cash prizes in the form of a Maestro prepaid card (or a cheque for winners resident in the Republic of Ireland) will be delivered by post to each winner’s designated address within 28 days of the winner being informed that they are a winner.
10. Cash prize winners may be required to participate in related publicity.
11. A list of the names and counties of the cash prize winners will be available after 27th April 2009 by sending an SAE to Snack A Jacks ‘Confessions’ promotion, c/o Century House, 100 Oxford Street, 3rd Floor, London W1D 1LN. Alternatively, the names and counties of the cash prize winners for each Judging Period will be posted on https://www.snackajacks.co.uk after 27th April 2009.
12. As conditions of entry into this competition, and by uploading a Confession in this competition, you the entrant:
    1. warrant and represent that you own all rights to the Confession you are entering in this competition, and that your Confession: (a) is original to you and has been legally obtained and created, (b) does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights or any other legal or moral rights of any third party, or violate applicable laws or regulations; (c) has not been entered in or won previous competitions or awards; and (d) has not been published previously in any medium;
    2. irrevocably assign with full title guarantee to the Promoter and its affiliates, legal representatives, assigns, agents and licensees, all rights, title and interest in the Confession you are entering in this competition so that the Promoter can use your Confession in any media throughout the world for any purpose, without limitation, and without additional review, compensation, or approval from you or any other party;
    3. forever waive any rights of privacy, intellectual property rights, and any other legal or moral rights that may preclude the Promoter’s use of the Confession you are entering in this competition, or that may require your permission for the Promoter to use it for any purpose, and agree to never sue or assert any claim against the Promoter’s use of your Confession entered in this competition;

    5. agree to release and indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter from any and all claims that any commercial, advertising, presentation, web content or any other material subsequently produced, presented, and/or prepared by or on behalf of the Promoter infringes on the rights of your work as contained in any Confession; and
    6. agree to provide, immediately upon request by the Promoter, full and frank details of the source and origin of your Confession.
13. The decisions of the Promoter and judging panels are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
15. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party (other than the Promoter’s agencies for the purpose of servicing/implementing the promotion and prizes in the UK, Isle of Man, ROI and Channel Islands) without the individual’s prior consent.
