I use a damp microfibre cloth - all over the laptop. It comes up clean and looking as new everywhere. None, absolutely none, of the stinkingly expensive PC cleaners can come anywhere close to the microfibre cloth (which cost me a fiver, but I use it to clean a lot of other things with it, too).

I use Microfibre cloth too, mine cost 79p from Instore, I work for a notebook vendor and I get lots of "special" cleanng products to try, I can't say that any of them do a better job.;)

Some of them can be a little harsh, I probably wouldn't use them on a baby to be honest, take care especially if the screen has a special finish.

    Oh crummmmmmmmmssss!

I have JUST posted on that thread a glowing report about microfibre, thinking I was the only bright spark to have thought of it.... Serves me right for not reading this to the end before jumping the gun.

I use some screen cleaners from Aldi, ironic they got them back on offer this week. There great come in a large plastic round container.
  • I bought a Aldi ones for the office some time ago and also find them great for my glasses (specs) ;)

I would absolutely NOT use baby wipes to clean a laptop screen. My young daugther wiped her plastic fishtank and after a couple of days the surface had a 'foggy' smear which has taken me ages to get rid of ..... by polishing with a dry microfibre cloth and toothpaste!

Barely damp microfibre and nothing else for laptops gets my vote!
