Has anyone tried this "Astonishing" cleaner stuff? I saw it during the commercial break on GMTV this morning and was wondering if it works as good as the ad makes it look

Any feedback would be great before I spend my limited amount of pennies lol :j

Bar Keeper's Friend does work but I do hate the smell.
  • Bar Keepers Friend ? I haven't heard of that one before. Is it better than the Astonish cleaner in the ad ? I must admit I hate cleaning the oven especially when my cherry pies leak and burn which is a real pain to clean. I'm gonna google and check out the Bar Keepers Friend and find out where I can buy it from but I have also looked on astonishcleaner.co.uk and my brain feels scrambled with all the different cleaning stuff. I am tempted to order a couple of cleaners and test them against my Cif. Damn! too much to choose from:eek:
  • Sainsburys sells it it cleans tar from my wood burners glass, around £2 and lasts you only need a small amount on a damp cloth. It's also good for cleaning uvpc sills and it doesn't scratch

I 've used this stuff for years. Semi-Chem sell it for £1. It's brilliant. It doesn't scratch your ceramic hob and it's the only thing (in my opinion - I have tried others) that gets rid of any marks on the glass without smearing. I clean it with a non-scratch scourer. Wipe the stuff off with a damp cloth and polish up with a microfibre cloth. My grillpan is still like new too.

This stuff smells okay. Doesn't really have much of a smell. You can get it in orange too.

It is brilliant, it is very much easier than any other oven or hob cleaner I have used, and I don't clean mine as often as I should:o

It can also be used to stainless steel pots and pans. My set is almost 10 years old and still have no marks on them.

If interested in trying the product vist astonishcleaner.com as this is the companies officail website. The website gives details of the main stores who stock each product. The website mentioned by MissDiane is run by MrMopp and only allows you to buy products online from them.

As more than product has been mentioned in this thread, could I ask the posters who I have highlighted above in purple fonts to spell out the product they are praising please.

I'm easily confused but it looks like 'This Stuff' is a product/brand name.................is that correct?

I'd like to buy the right product so please spell it out for me.;)

    Thanks
