Just visited the website. Read the T&C (7.1) & their Privacy Policy.
Personally I think they are there to collect personal information and use them for their (and third party) marketing purposes.
I certainly would NOT use this site or sign up.Regards

Tried it a while back & it suggested Cahoot had a 0% credit card best buy!!!

Sounds a bad idea. You are giving them permission to get hold of your credit history which gives them lots of opportunities to sell you stuff. You know they are going to when you see it is run by a company called "EuroDirect Database Marketing Limited".
Also as each lender has their own secret criteria as to how they score credit histories there is no guarantee the company they recommend will accept you (as they admit when they use words such as "likely").
I suspect all they do is see if you generally score high or low and refer you to ordinary lenders or those specialising in poor risks. You can do that yourself.0 -
It's run by Skipton Information Group - owners of CallCredit (the "third" credit reporting agency) and Eurodirect (demographic marketing datasets).
It's all above board, but I can't vouch for how well it works. I'm assuming they'll use the information they'll have on you at a personal and demographic level to match you with an appropriate lender. Personally, I'll keep taking tips from these forums instead.0 -
I work for EuroDirect and it’s interesting to read your comments. For those of you who are concerned about using MyCreditZoo can I just make it clear that the main intention of this service is not to collect personal information so that we can ‘sell you stuff’. The primary objective is to generate money by referring suitable candidates to credit providers i.e. the providers pay EuroDirect per accepted application. Although we can collect name and address data we can only use this if you allow us to do so by opting in. You have complete control!
EuroDirect are part of the Skipton Information Group which includes Callcredit, a very reputable credit referencing agency. Our expertise in this area has enabled us to develop advanced scorecards that point users in the direction of credit providers that are most likely to lend to them given their credit rating. We cannot guarantee that all applications will be successful because providers can sometimes change their scoring systems based upon levels of demand, sometimes making the acceptance criteria much harder. We continually track trends with lenders and change MyCreditZoo’s scoring system accordingly. Remember its in our interests as a credit broker that we get as many happy applicants as possible!0 -
ABSOLUTE CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought, ahhh why not, lets give it a go!
I put my details in and it gave me 2 credit card options.
1) Capital One (who will give a card to almost anyone for a deposit of upto £200!!!!
2) Virgin (already declined me a few weeks back)!!!!
What use is this site to man or beast?????"I Assume I Need No Introduction"0 -
I've actually tried this site and found it really helpful. I don't have a brilliant credit rating, but I was honest with the questions it asked you. It gave me recomendations for cards I could apply for which was really helpful because I've spent ages filling in forms before and getting told no!
definitely worth trying it out I'd say!0 -

Maybe I'm being skeptical, but seems strange that a positive report for the site should come from someone who has only just signed up and has only the 1 post. :rolleyes:Dave. :wave:0 -
The gentleman concerned has also signed up and made his first post on the stoozing website. One of the regulars on this (MSE) board has highlighted a few, shall we say, problems, with it's ability to score and recommend products without knowing an applicants current debt situation.
