Been having a bit of a bad time; work, health and family stuff. Lost my drive for money saving but I have decided to get back on track, I know paying off my credit cards will give me a boost. So I have probably forgotten what I have done, if I actually did much, but I did get £2.30 off petrol using a coupon, £21 off two lots of shopping by using vouchers and going down a brand (I dont count two for 1s or instore offers cos I would always have had them anyway and I try to look at what extra I am doing.) So far so good but the Tesco delivery was disappointing with several things with a one day use by date, anyway decided to e mail them and complain 0 didn't expect much response so within a few hours I had an apology and £10 money back, so that was good. So that gives me another £33.30. I will also be able to get £10 from free scratch cards in the next couple of days and i did my first pinecone survey so will post when I get that (really pleased because other surveys always reject me)Sell £1500

Can someone pass me the smelling salts, I have had an awful shock:eek: I don't think that I should post my savings on here not after tonight anyway:eek: A friend's husband mentioned that there was an auction on tonight of some stuff - a lot from a wedding shop, so muggins decided to persuade friend to driver her to the auction (i can't see to drive in the dark) so I had a mooch about and espied 3 boxes of stuff - now I just thought they contained petticoats and veils which I could easily flog on ebay, I put in a bid on one box and got it for £18 and then I was asked if I wanted all 3 boxes so I said yes, so they charged me £18 for each box and then I had a buyers premium to pay and vat - so I spent £71.43, I have just gone through the box (we had to stuff everything else loose in the boot and then bag it into bin bags to get it up the stairs) and the bags and although somethings were not priced, I managed to save wait for it £14634.85 (once I have worked out the prices of the unpriced items I think I will have saved around about £15000:eek: Now I just need to sell it all:rolleyes:
That is great, reminds me of someone I know who bought a box of bric a brack (is that how you spell it?) I think it cost £5. Well when he went to collect it the box was just part of a lot including some tea chests of books, his wife went mad. Anyway he liked old books so took them home and found some valuable books including a rare first edition worth thousands. Set him up in his first house and his wife still moans when he buys "junk" at auctions.Sell £1500
