Aspiring domestic goddess seeks pudding recipe

I'm going to make tomato soup for dinner, which is usually met with serious disdain from OH (he's a man, he thinks it's not real food unless it contains bread or potatoes, preferably both). So I thought I'd soften the blow by knocking up a pudding.
I haven't got any butter or marge though, so I could do with a recipe for something which I can drown in custard and which requires no fat. I have got some leftover Weetabix cake (mmmmm) but it's at the stage where it's a bit stale and needs toasting. Otherwise I have eggs/flour/milk/sugar/cocoa/sultanas/oats/mixed spice/baking powder etc.
Any suggestions, o wise ones?

How about a fatless sponge -- yummy with or without custard0

Pancakes perhaps?
Or if you have some suet - a roly poly?
Or spotted !!!!!!? That might work anyway if you use SR flour, milk and eggs and maybe a teaspoon of baking powder.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. 1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil or salad oil

1/4 cup cocoa
1 3/4 cups hot water

Stir in nuts if using.
Pour into greased oven proof pudding bowl, one that holds about 1 1/2 liters
Combine remaining ingredients to make a sauce; pour over batter.
Bake at 350 deg. For about 40 minutes.
Pudding will rise to the top and sauce will sink to the bottom making a chocolate sticky pudding.Deliver us from email....0 -

Try this, but replace the 2 tbsp of melted butter with vegetable oil

Do you know, that is EXACTLY what I did! I printed off moozikgal's recipe then thought 'hang on a minute' and had a rummage through my recipe box only to find your recipe which I had printed out previously (hadn't even crossed my mind until then - and how could I forget?!). It worked a treat, now I'm fat as a pig and very pleased with myself (and domestic crisis was averted) - so thanks all! :EasterBun0 -
Brilliant, I haven't tried it using the oil, but I was sure it would be OK. Choc fudge pudding more than makes up for 'soup for tea'0
