Primus cheaper than BT on 0845 & 0870

Quick update for those that wnat to know:
Just spoke with Primus and got their tariff for 0845 and 0870
0845 = 3.36; 1.26; 0.85
0870 = 6.73; 3.36; 1.7
(3 rates are day, night, weekend)
They told me they were undercutting BT by around a penny.

0870 - 7.9, 3.95, 20 -
The figures you quote are excluding vat !!!!
It says on their site i quote
"How am I charged for calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers?
These types of number are non-geographic and are charged according to BT rates. "
They seem to mean the old BT rates.
BT are in fact cheaper then them ,they charge inc vat

The thing is that BT Together is the most basic package for most people. This is a 'discounted' package, calls on these packages cost (including VAT):
Rates daytime, evening, weekend
0845 3p/min 1p/min 1p/min
0870 7.51p/min 3.75p/min 1.50p/min

Perhaps I need to remember to ask about the VAT issue. Just assumed that being a residential bill it would include vat!
3rd time this week I'm being taught the hard way not to assume - Oh well a week of education :j
