Pre-Paid Credit Cards

Hi
I am looking to get a pre-paid credit card to use online, as I don't have a proper credit card and would like to use to buy online (sick of sending snail cheques). I have been looking at the various options but have come across many stumbling blocks, the Extreme card and others require a credit card to get one! and some of them take 2 weeks to send you one.
Is there a card which you will receive(or collect from the post office) withing a couple of days? and that can be paid for when collecting?
What I am looking for:
- Card to load money on at Post office every month or so
- Can be used online to order items
- Not bothered about withdrawal charges as unlikely to do so
- Card that can is received straight away (or soon as poss)
Thanks for any advice. :T

If you don't want a Credit Card but would prefer a Debit Card call into your bank and ask about Debit Cards. I use Debit Cards (until I get a Credit Card) for all on-line purchases."Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."

I have never seen so much card fees. As if, "£8.95 card issue fee", "£5.95
per month", "payment processing £1.95", "ATM withdraw £2.50", "cash withdraw at bank", "additional card £9.95", and the worse of all "£10.00 cancellation fee"!!! :rotfl::shocked:"Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."

I use CashPlus for everything on-line shopping . One payment a month (about £4.95 I think) for unlimited transactions (except drawing it out of the cash point) taken off the card. Can pay in at the Post Office and also at (erm) Money Shops (pawn brokers
). I use it in the US on holiday for those moments in the US when only a card will do like checking into hotels. As you don't want it for drawing out cash I think it may suit you.
It's also the only place on this earth that thinks I'm, worthy of a Gold card atmFull FAQ on the website-including the "How long to get a card answers" www.cashplus.co.uk. Works for me-but you need to read up and see if it works for your own needs.
