So what happened to pipeline? (the petrol card scheme)

If the guy had genuine reasons for his delays, I'm sure he would have replied to the various people above who've asked him what's going on.
As many of us said from the start, if this idea had a shred of viability to it then one of the oil companies would have been clever enough to do it themselves years ago.0 -
Ben Scam me ll
is his name.
Seems he got quite a few of you.0 -
He can't have scammed you cos you aint lost anything. But you also can't blame the guy for trying......has anyone here tried to get the nation cheaper fuel? All gone quiet has it.........hummmmm shame on you guys
DWhat goes around - comes around

Ok - time for some intervention. It HAS been hugely quiet on the Pipeline front - but, as you all say, nobody has been spammed or scammed. There just hasn't been a lot to say.
The oil companies have been very difficult to negotiate with - and so have the banks (don't ask!!) Plan A was abandoned before Christmas - as we told you - and Plan B might yet actually succeed. Not replying quickly enough to emails is a bit naughty - apologies there - but we have had a lot of emails recently. And they are all asking the same question.
We will send a reply to everybody within three working days (promise!) and we will post some real news in the site as soon as we can. Lots of people have tried to do this, and failed. The Dutch suceeded, and we are still trying.
It can't, and won't go on indefinitely but we will know by the end of the month whether Plan B is likely to work. Either way, we will write and let people know.

Do you know what, im going to give up with the idea of pipelinecard and im sure tens of thousands of people will do the same until you bring out what you say your going to. Maybe free offers to sat nav and that ben said its not spam, "its a great offer", if I wanted a good deal on a product then id search for it. You really shot yourself in the foot with that one didnt you. I think you should sign up to the data protection act like quidco, then the millions know you wont send us crap.
All the nation asks is for info every once in a while, is that to much to ask?Kind Regards

I don't recall reading anything about Plan A being abandoned (and can find nothing in the news links on your website) and don't know what Plan B is (for the same reason).
Can you elucidate?0 -
Details of the demise of our original plan were sent out to everybody in the August update -which is still on the site.
Plan B is the last attempt to secure a deal and we will know pretty soon if it is going to work or not. If it is not successful the only people who really have lost anything are Ben and the rest of the Pipeline crew who put a lot of time, effort and money into the scheme.
We know people want to be updated but there is nothing definite to say yet. We expect that there will be soon.

Plan A was scrapped before Xmas or was it August, and you told us !!
Oh NO you didn't !!!!0 -
The August update (OK, that is 'before Xmas', I guess!) does mention 'talking to other partners' but that doesn't tell us much, as we never knew who the original partner was anyway! It certainly doesn't give 'details of the demise of the original plan' or mention the need to adopt a new plan.
This talk of 'abandoning Plan A' makes it sound as though a completely different approach is now being adopted, which is something we definitely didn't know about.0
