Hi Can any one recommend a good travel insurance company for oap's with medical conditions.
So many have age cut offs, then when you find one that is ok for older people it is really expensive or excludes them after the medical screening.

Hi
Try allcleartravel.co.uk and medicitravel.com.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
I have read from some that Allclear and Medici have been helpful in arranging cover and at a lesser cost than others.

Thanks, Done online quote and not cheap but at least they did accept the medical conditions and age, (doing this for two people in their 70's with at least two medical conditions each).
Nothing much to compare with at the moment so can not really say whether they are expensive or not yet.
Yes if it will help others I will post again when I have a few more quotes.
Some take a while because a lot only do the medical screening by phone & not online and won't talk to a 3rd party.0 -
Thanks everyone, said I would post back after I got some quotes,
Columbus Direct have come out cheapest so far for a single trip to USA but were not willing to do Multi trip including USA.
Allclear & Medici were quite a bit more but obviously depends on the age & medical conditions which I am pleased to say they also were prepared to cover.
Haven't managed to get a quote for Direct travel yet as wasn't sure if I had the right website but will try & find it and update this again when I have a quote from them.0
