It is a fun way to be introduced to a new language, but it is expensive. Check out eBay for second-hand copies...if you are willing to buy videos instead of DVDs it works out cheaper still.
Some young children just have a great ear for languages and music and Muzzy combines the two very well. But, unless exposure to the language is maintained between the age that Muzzy appeals to and secondary school, the educational value is probably minimal.
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.

I was going to try this, until a friend of mine said she'd bought it and not got the use out of it. My children are learning french in Years 2 upwards now (just the basics, but hey - unless you want them to learn it because you are living abroad, thats fine). You will probably find that when they start teaching it in school, they will pick up on it quite quickly and remember that the majority of their friends wont have had the Muzzy education, and the teacher will start at a point that is suitable for the whole class thereby your children not getting anything out of the lesson.
I decided against it just because I could think of better ways to spend the money, but like the post above - if you really want to try it, try and get 2nd hand (or buy it yourself, try it and if you don't like it then you can be the one selling on e-bay!).

In my tesco's DVD section i picked up a cheap DVD aimed at children to teach them simple french through a cartoon family. It was £4.99. They had a learn french DVD and a learn spanish DVD. I bought it about 2 months ago. The french one had a purple/blue cover and the spanish one had a yellow cover.

    Would this help?
