Tesco have 250g Anchor butter 50p and 2 litre bottles of their Fresh n Lo milk (the 2% stuff - like semi skimmed) for 50p. I think it's just a weekend promo... I only saw the offer yesterday and it expires today (Sunday).
TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

No milk at the kennington/vauxhall store ( it is only a small one) and definately no butter
Cheese was there as was the bread & eggs. the 50p eggs are the value ones so we left them as we only have free range here
HTH:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Just returned from Tesco - forgot to look at the eggs but suspect that they wouldn't be free range at that price anyway (?). Got 7 bottles of the milk in date for nearly 2 weeks (easily used in this time!) and 3 packs of butter. There was lots of milk but not much butter left. Thanks for this - saved me a fortune!3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
