If you’ve ever wondered why race team managers choose ageing has-been’s or inexperienced rookies to ride in their team and think you could do better selecting your own dream team line up – then here’s your chance.
By playing MCN’s free Fantasy Road Race competition in association with eBike Insurance – voted No.1 Best Internet Service in the 2007 Rider Power Survey - we’ll give you £10million to put a six man MotoGP, WSB and BSB team together. You'll get to decide who’s hot and who’s not and use your own racing knowledge to predict who’s going to do the business in 2008.
MCN’s Fantasy Road Race competition is now FREE to play and by entering a team you’ll get to compete against your family, friends and other MCN readers and have the chance to win our top prize - a stunning 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R in green worth £9000 thanks to DK Motorcycles.
There’re also 10 round prizes to be won, making every round of every championship count.
The game is run online and you’ll get all the stats and results round by round at the click of your mouse.
Picking your team
Simply click here to go to our dedicated race site and select two riders from each championship to the combined maximum value of £10m.
You must select your team by 13.00 GMT on Friday 22nd February, so that you can start scoring points at the opening WSB race of the year in Qatar. If you register after qualifying begins, you will only be able to score points from the race weekends following your registration.
Entering is easy but making the right team choice isn’t as simple. £10m may sound like a lot of money but you’ll soon find yourself running out of cash if you go for big money riders, Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi, leaving you some tough decisions to make on who’s going to get you the most points for your money.
Remember that you’ll be able to change your team as many times as you like prior to the start of the competition at 13:00 GMT on Friday 22nd February. After that, you can make up to 25 team changes during the nine transfer windows over the course of the entire season, with a maximum of three rider changes per Game round.

Private Leagues offer you the chance to create your own mini-league, separate from the overall leaderboard, for you and your friends. It's a great way to enhance your enjoyment of the game and you may well end up beating those closest to you - and that's what really counts!
Of course your team will also compete on the overall leaderboard, but if you fall out of contention to win the main prize, there is always the satisfaction of finishing on top in your own Private League.
I have created a MCN Fantasy Road Race league so we can have a bit of fun with this comp.
PM me if you would like to join in the fun and I will give you a pin number to enter your fantasy league team into the MoneySavingExpert League.0 -
I am very disappointed in you all, I thought you would be all up for a bit of fun.
Its been a very disappointing response. Only 1 application for the MoneySavingExpert League.

Although the end date for this comp is 22/02 you can still enter.
The qualifiers have taken place and the race begins 23/02.
All it means is if you register late, you do not get any points for the qualifiers or races you have missed.0 -
The transfer window is open so you can swap up to 3 of your riders.0
-
Well that's good as I'm doing terribly with the ones I picked!

What screwed it up was that the BSB was canceled due to snow this weekend.
Thats my excuse and I am sticking to it. :rotfl:0
