    Oooooh, I think I'm a definite now! :j I've got childcare sorted, now it's just a case of working out the quickest/easiest/cheapest way to get there after work (I finish at 3pm). :D:D

    fantastic news you are now coming Snaggles!!

    I am gutted I will have to leave so early and am so torn about the whole thing. :(

    Asked OH if he had any more news etc on the evening family thing and he got shirty and said 'you are with your friends aren't you?' I said, yes, but obviously I would come with him to the evening party.

    He said he had told his family I couldn't come, :mad: so I told to 'untell them'. :mad: I then got 'well, if you think I am driving into the centre of Manchester to pick you up'.....so I replied 'I am quite capable of getting on a train to Shaw myself'......:mad:

    He really doesn't want me there so part of me thinks fook him, i'll stay with my lovely friends. But at the same time, I don't see why I should be side lined by him when I know I'm invited to a family event.

    If I can get to visit my daughter, in Machester, that weekend, can I come?

    Only 'problem' is that she may be away herself, and can't confirm until next week.

    I know it's a family event, and you want to be wanted there.

    But be honest - where would you have more fun? With someone who doesn't really want you there, or with people who really really do want you there?

    I wont be there til the evening, so I'll miss you if you're leaving early :(

    I know, I'll have much more fun with you lot :( I was doubly miffed because of his attitude of the fact he had told them I wasn't going even though I'd said I wanted to when he first mentioned it. I felt very sidelined and he made it obvious he wasn't wanting me to be there. :(

    That's why I'm torn, I know his family will be sad if I don't go and Iguess he'll say that I couldn't make it.
