Hi Jo,
If you scroll down on this webpage, there is a recipe for a mint (aero) version of malteser traybakes.

Just what I was looking for. Must get mint Aero balls to make it, wonder if it would work as good with mint Aero bars?0

Big bags of mint Aero balls are on offer in Spar & Vivo @ 99p, so I will go there and get some. When I went to get the mint Aero square today, my treat instead of an Easter egg, the woman told me she wouldn't have any until Wednesday and I left the shop like a disappointed child, now thanks to Pink-winged I'll have them before that!!:j0

If you scroll down to where Harvey Nicoll has typed the following,
Did a Minty version of this, added a few drops of peppermint extract thingie at initial stage, then instead of Maltesers I used the Mint Chocolate Aero balls, I mixed these in with the crushed digestives before adding so balls didnt melt. Also have done this with chopped Mint Aero bar as shop had no Mint Aero balls at that time. drizzled melted choc over the top. Nice for a dinner party for those "I don't do dessert thanks" guests, who go straight to the coffee. yummy..........
It is the 32nd review below the recipe. HTH!0 -
