Won a makeover !!

Not sure who to say thank you too, but I have won a makeover with Make over Studio London, I think the girl said from Health & Fitness competition.:j:j
I thought it was a con so didn't accept anything straight away and said i would look for a date and call them back so that I could google them and look on here for more info - and I'm still none the wiser. They didn't ask for any deposits and said that I would get 30 photos taken and get 5, if I wanted anymore I would have to pay.:cool::cool:
I live in the north west so it would be a major journey for me if I were to do it but would just like some advise - has anyone else won or been recently?
Also a big thank you to everyone who posts comps on here :T:T

hi there have been some other discussions on here about this, i got a call today and they want £40 deposit which is returned once you buy the photos, I am afraid this may be the same one and would tread carefully. The tel no was 02073832030 and I turned them down after seeing the earlier posts today.0

Well done. I won one last year with a different photographer and they explained to me the deposit was to book the make up person and to make sure I was going to turn up and not be a time waster. Obviously there is a bit of chatter on here about these prizes so I would do a search first. I will say I had a fun afternoon, the only bit of advice if you go ahead is only take the free photographs and don't be talked into any of the others as that is when the costs escalate oh and enjoy yourself. However for the price of travel from where you live, you may be able to find a local photographer who offers "makeover" days as a promotional package.
