Hi All
Not sure if I am posting in the correct forum.
I work for a charity in Oxford which supports and houses vulnerable, young mums.
I aim to put on a makeover night for these young mums as they often have no contact with family and rely on each other for support. In addition they rarely get any time to theirselves.
Any ideas of where I can get some make-up from?
Regards

If you are a registered charity I'd contact your local stores that sell make-up maybe suggesting that you'll mention the store that donated the products. Many years ago I helped my mum get prizes for the RNLB. As long as you can prove you are a legimae charity and it's a good course then many will give for good publicity.0

You'd have to pay something for it, but it might be worth joining InKind Direct as they sometimes have makeup offers.
Just make sure you don't make an appeal which means you're given lots of part-used makeup. I'm sure you realise you've got to be scrupulous about hygiene and not sharing lippies etc!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Hi,
Often the make up desks in department stores/Boots etc have free samples if you ask nicely. Otherwise you could try putting a wanted ad on Freecycle. This might only get you a small amount but every little helps. Good luck.0 -

They are very friendly over there and Im sure would like to help.
