My mate was told that she would get hers within 28 days and if she hasn't she'll give them rocks. . . maybe another trip to the newspapers with this one. After the fiasco with the cheating phone numbers you really wouldn't have thought they could do with the grief !
Does anyone want to post the phone number in case there are others still waiting?

I have the phone number (pm me if you need it - not sure if i am allowed to put it up) and have spoken to them this week, the lady i spoke to in accounts said she had only received my info this week and it would now take upto 28 days to issue cheque. I am annoyed and did moan, but felt as i was a 'win' couldn't really say too much about how long you have to wait.
Just hope people don't go out spending before they receive there money, thinking it will be there quickly.0 -
Oooh wee after reading this she is going to have a go and threaten with the newspapers. They definitely said that they were contracted to send the cheque within 28 days. . not within 28 days of the accountants getting your details.
This is just one way of them making money by not paying out but hanging on to it and giving any old lame excuse. The sponsor wouldn't be happy either if he found out either.
I know you think that you have "just won" the money but you've fulfilled your part of the contract by entering the competition (and winning yay!) so they should should keep to their part of the bargain.
She's now threatening to phone the TV program !!! complain on air. . now that could hurt!:rotfl:0
