You guessed it, they won't eat my yummy liver and onions so I have 3 portions left and with the best will inthe world, I can't eat 'em all today! Can I freeze it? The liver is pigs liver, everything bought fresh yesterday.

I agree, and as hollydays points out - always check if something has been frozen. Otherwise yes, it freezes well uncooked or with any dish you make with it, yum.0

I've defrosted a packet of lambs liver today to make liver and bacon tonight but I'm the only one who likes liver and there's far too much in the packet for me to eat (should have split it up before freezing, I know
)
I'm wondering if it would be ok to re-freeze once it's cooked? Just a bit worried about it going hard and rubbery when defrosted/re-heated though. Has anyone tried doing this before and was it ok?“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Yes you can, I always do it, just becareful you do not over cook it when you reheat it.Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0

Thanks csarina, I've been careful to only cook it until it's pink in the middle this time so fingers crossed it shouldn't overcook when it's re-heated.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

I'm the only one who eats liver in my house too. Tesco only sell it in a large block, but I just defrost it, split it up and refreeze it. My butcher told me to do it, and it's always been fine.I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Too late, I've cooked it all now
Will bear that in mind though if I'm ever silly enough to freeze a pack without splitting it first though, thanks“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
