Who gets the Rent?

Ok, my Landlord is in court tomorrow, for repossession of the house I am renting from him, now the Lender does not want to take over my tenancy if it gets repossessed, so who gets the rent if it does?? rent is due abt the 8th october. Do I pay the Lender? :confused:

    I've done that, had advice, just wondered abt this though, as I've been told to carry on paying the rent.

    I'd cancel the standing order to the landlord as he clearly won't own it. Then I'd just await instructions and hold onto the rent at rent day until I'd had some official letter telling me what to do.
