Reduced sugar jam recipes

I have a glut of strawberries and want to make some reduced sugar jam with them.
Anyone got any good recipes, please?

I dont know I am afraid, but maybe if you added extra pectin to help it set?

This site has the only low sugar jam recipes that I know of, but you will need Splenda, not sugar, and keep the jam in the fridge.

I have to ask, how come you have a glut of an out of season fruit?

    Diabetic Strawberry Jam
    4 Cups strawberries (halved)
1/2 Cup concentrated white grape juice (simmered down from 1 1/2 cups)
2 1/2 Tablespoons lemon juice and 1/4 teaspoon rind (grated)
    1 1/2 Tablespoons unflavoured gelatin
Place berries juices and lemon rind in saucepan.Mash berries slightly to release juice. heat to boiling. Sprinkle with unflavored geltatin. Remove from heat, skim and pack into hot jars with hot lids.
Cool to room temperature before freezing.

I made strawberry jam yesterday in the breadmaker and i was shocked by the amount of sugar i had to put in (equal amount of fruit and sugar)Is there another way of making jam but using less sugar .Can i use sweeteners instead of sugar?

We have an older thread on making reduced sugar jam for people with diabetes.

I'll add your question to that to keep suggestions together.
