Hi folks.
I'm hoping someone on here might be able to give me some advice that I can pass onto my Mother about this. A couple of days ago, she was cold called (not exactly thrilled by this alone, but anyway...) by the company in question and was talked into getting their iTalk option 3 service.

From my point of view, however, while the company might be fine and all, I'm not sure there's anything that they provide that BT won't under their 'Option 3' - especially since she'd still need to pay the line rental. (For the record, I think she's on BT's Option 1 at the moment.) I told her last night to call BT and ask if they can better the deal the iTalk people gave and cancel the direct debit (both with the company and at the bank) if so.
My question is, am I missing something? Perhaps others on here (I did a search, but it didn't turn anything up) have used them before, or can provide input as to what they think she is best doing.
For what it's worth, my Mother is making ends meet as it is and I think said she'd move because BT want to put her DD up from £56pm to £94pm and she just can't afford that.
Thanks all.

These people are expensive not only that she signed up for a 24 month contract ,which will cost her £234 over that period. Get her to cancel with these I Talk people asap, and make sure BT knows she has cancelled. Then have a read of Heinz,s very helpful post here on how she can really cut her phone bills.

Thanks! I'll print it off for her and let her read through it.0
