What’s the deal?
Market research company GFK is giving away £5 Amazon vouchers when you complete a survey and download a special Internet Explorer toolbar. If you've got a bit of time it's worth doing.
How to bag the £5 voucher
- Step 1 – First sign up online to become a GFK member.
- Step 2 – Next wait for an email with a link to a 10-minute survey for you to fill out. This should take about a day to arrive.
- Step 3 – Once you’ve filled out the survey, another email will arrive in a day-or-so, with a link to download the toolbar.
- Step 4 – Your £5 Amazon voucher code should arrive by email two weeks after you downloaded the toolbar.
GFK is a large company with good feedback from MoneySavers. The toolbar sits at the top of your Internet Explorer; it tracks which websites you’re browsing so the company can collect traffic statistics – if you’re not happy with it doing this then this deal isn’t for you (though once you've got the voucher you can always get rid of it!)
To download the toolbar application you’ll need Windows 98 or higher and Internet Explorer 5.0.
Will this definitely work?
Well, it’s never definite and there’s a risk the company may pull the offer once the a mass of people join on the back of the Money Tips email. But it’s worth having a go if you’ve got a few minutes to spare and aren't worried about the tracking software.
How to remove the toolbar once you no longer want it
To hide the toolbar in your Internet Explorer, click on ‘View’ and select ‘Toolbars. Click to remove the tick from the GFK toolbar.
To uninstall the toolbar completely, click on Start, (then Settings in Windows 2000) and select Control Panel. Choose Add or Remove Programs. Locate and select the GFK Toolbar and click on Change/Remove. Click Yes from the Setup window to uninstall the Toolbar.

If you sign up to the survey site and download the toolbar apparently!
http://www.surveymedia.net/imm/index.phpRemember that you'll also be given a £5 Amazon voucher for successfully downloading and installing the IMM Toolbar - guaranteed! Then you can also complete the Web questionnaire whenever you choose and we enter you into our monthly prize draw when you fill it in five times per month; where we give away over 500 prizes and have a top prize of £500.
Well - I like the sound of that word "guaranteed"!! It sounds as if you could get the £5 voucher by simply doing that and not doing anything further, so we'll see - personally I never bother with surveys that ask for my time and then only give a silly "prize draw" entry as a reward.
WARNING - I haven't got the result from this yet myself so we'll all have to see how it goes.0 -
I am with this company and just finished a special week survey to get a 5 pound amazon voucher although I havent heard from them since I completed the week about my voucher...will let you know if they ever get back to me with my voucher!0

Hi
I have been doing the TV/Radio surveys for over a year now, so far I have won 4 £5 Amazon vouchers and also received two £5 Amazon vouchers for a special Media surveys ( just signed for a third one).
I have never had any problems and have received all the vouchers as promised.SSB0 -

Thanks Edna, this sounds pretty good. I was a member of GFK (before they deleted my account as I was in hospital for 7 months!) and I use to win a £5 voucher quite often, so fingers crossed this'll work along the same lines.

Im also with GFK for their tv surveys, and often get a £5 gift voucher - the special media surveys sometimes take a while to pay the voucher, although the last one came within a week of me completing it!!!0

I signed upto it, but I haven't received an email back from them yet. Do they give the link to download the toolbar via email, or on a page that displays after you click on sign up?0

As a reward for downloading and installing the IMM Toolbar we will give you a £5 Amazon voucher, which will be sent to you 2 weeks after you successfully install the application. You'll need Windows 98 or higher and Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher in order to download the toolbar and participate in the Web Appreciation Survey, but can take the Television Appreciation Survey without these system requirements.
BUT - WHERE IS THE TOOLBAR?0
